Husband and Wife duo Chris and Sarah Pittenger started this tiny project in 2009 (yes, it is named after the Gros Ventre River in Jackson Hole for the Geographically inclined population). They’re making RIDICULOUSLY good Pinot Noirs from Sonoma and the hands-down best Passetoutgrain (Labeled High Country Red) I’ve ever had from the Sierra Foothills…along with some Gamay, Vermentino, and a delicious white blend made up mostly of Chenin.
